It is both a valuable complement and support to mindfulness meditation, as well as a transformative Buddhist practice in its own right. The practice brings many benefits, including greater self-understanding, inner stability, resilience, sense of connection and well-being. In this daylong, we will explore ways to cultivate kindfulness for ourselves and others through guided meditation, short lectures, Q&A sessions, and interactive exercises. Beginners, experienced meditators, and skeptics, ... are all welcome. Nikki Mirghafori, PhD, is an Artificial Intelligence scientist and a Buddhist teacher. Nikki has taught meditation retreats nationally on a variety of contemplative topics ranging from mindfulness and lovingkindness to death contemplation.
