Child Foundation charity organization outreach event
child foundation

Child Foundation is the largest US-based nonprofit working inside Iran. Last year, they sent nearly $3,000,000 to the country to help children in need to have access to education. Their sponsorship program of collecting donations and sending it to Iran is approved by the U.S. Department of Treasury through an OFAC license. Child Foundation does more than just trying to keep children in school - their innovative strategy has helped them continue their humanitarian work in Iran for 25 years despite worsening relations between the governments of the United States and Iran. Masoud Modarres, Child Foundation’s Senior Advisor of Outreach and Development will be in town for a series of presentations and we have asked him to join us for a presentation about their operations both in Iran and internationally. He will talk about different opportunities that are available to help children in Iran legally, safely, and with full transparency. Join us for a couple of hours of discussion with Masoud, as we take a journey from Silicon Valley to the villages of Sistan Baluchestan, Ilam, Kurdistan in Iran where despite unimaginable hardships, children are striving and hopeful for a better tomorrow.
